چکیده
Milk production under grazing conditions is carried out in the intertropical region of hot climates due to its low cost. The Tropical Milking criollo breed (LT) characterized by hardiness this region, and high milk quality cheese yield. Grazing supplementation can increase production; however, it also change chemical composition. effect with commercial feed LT cows was evaluated concerning quantity physicochemical traits their lactation. treatments used were feeding based only on para grass (Brachiaria mutica) plus 1 kg 20 % protein for every 5 produced daily. daily per cow increased from 5.82 ± 0.18 7.10 supplementation. Dry matter intake similar both treatments. concentration fat, protein, lactose, non-fat, total solids did not suffer modifications (p > 0.05), but each component animals supplemented multiplicative amount milk. number calvings affected production, ureic nitrogen milk, somatic cell count ≤ 0.05).
